For this illustration, we were asked to create a vector version of ourselves to help show off our personality. I went through the whole process of taking a photo of myself and working through a style to outline and create the final image, opting for a flatter look.
PROCESS
I started off by taking a look through my camera roll to find a photo I liked, then imported it into illustrator. From there I started sketching the outlines for the main aspects such as the hair, shirt, pants, and any other pertinent items like the hair accessories and phone. After that, I started adding details to the shirt to minimize the blank canvas for colour it offered. Finally, I used the colour picker to add the colour and give it that vector feel, along with some shadows to tie it all together.

For this illustration, we were asked to create a set of vector illustrations focusing on individual and group photos, and their prominent features. I went through the process of pulling photos from my camera roll and working through a style to outline and create the final image, opting for a flatter look.
PROCESS
To begin this project, I searched my photo library to locate potential options for the series of five illustrations, which I then imported into Illustrator. Following this, I proceeded to outline the key elements of the images, such as the hair, shirt, pants, and any pertinent items, including the jacket, accessories, and phone. To create a more natural-looking line, I utilized the smoothing tool. Afterward, I added additional details to the compositions, such as sunglasses, wrinkles, rings, and other small accessories. Lastly, I applied color to the illustrations using the color picker tool to achieve a cohesive vector feel, making necessary adjustments along the way to ensure a complementary color scheme.
In regards to the pet illustrations, I used a similar approach, utilizing a slightly more abstract outline to highlight the animal's distinctive color patterns. Lastly, I incorporated important details to ensure accuracy and enhance the overall visual appeal.
