During this project we had to choose a quote and use what we had learned about typography to elevate the quote.
PROCESS
As soon as this exercise came out I knew what quote I wanted to do, that being said, I still brought myself to brainstorm possibilities. With that being said, Beauty and the Beast is my #1 movie of all time, so it was still a no-brainer.
Once the quote was chosen, I started to find different fonts that fit the style of the quote and worked to complement each other. While the quote stood out on its own from the typography, I wanted to complete the look by adding the rose petals to symbolize the rose from the beast's castle. I also added in the creme background, the top and bottom lines with the blur to give the impression of an old parchment while keeping it simple.
